The Ring is located on a peninsula in the Pantano de Gabriel y Galán, in a conifer environment and several kilometers away from the largest towns in the area. This location is a privileged setting for the observation of the night sky. In addition, the whole building of the Ring has a rooftop which allows a clearer view of the sky above the treetops.

The festival’s dates coincide with one of the events most appreciated by astronomers: the Perseids.

Workshops will consist of the observation of the night sky directly and using binoculars, with the guidance of an expert in the field. One of the workshops will be focused on the observation of the stars, while the other will talk about the moon.
